Round 1 Results are in the books! Round 2 is underway ( Pairings for Round 2.)

Tournament participants should contact their assigned opponent by logging into ACTS and sending a message through the game that has been set-up for you.

The player with the lower AREA rating bids first (see here for AREA ratings). Players without an AREA rating entering the tournament, are considered to have an AREA rating of 5000. Players with identical AREA ratings determine the first bidder by a die roll.

Bidding Examples: Bidding +2 would mean that a player would need 22VP for an AXIS AV and would only get 18 VP from the Totaller Krieg card play. Bidding -1 would mean that a player would need 19 VP for an AXIS AV and would get 21 VP upon the play of Totaller Krieg.

Each subsequent bid must have an absolute value GREATER than the previous bid. Declining to bid is equivalent to accepting your opponent's bid at which point your opponent gets the AXIS at the declared bid. Note: If you want to play the ALLIES, bid low for the AXIS! Hint: Experience has shown that a balanced game, between equally experienced players, will exist with a bid between 0 and +2, inclusive.

Once a final bid has been accepted, notify the GMs via email (btb@wargamereplays.com).

Pairings have been made and we are off and running!

Tournament participants should contact their assigned opponent by logging into ACTS and sending a message through the game that has been set-up for you. The first step is bidding for sides and if you are unsure how to get the bidding started, here is the description from the tournament rules:

Bids: You and your opponent will be ‘bidding’ for sides. If both players have AREA ratings, the player with the lower rating will bid first, otherwise players should roll to determine who bids first randomly. For example, one player should request an ACTS die roll and specify that on a 1-3 = Player A bids first, 4-6 = Player B bids first. AREA Ratings are posted here.

For more information, review the PBEM Primer.

Once a final bid has been accepted, notify the GMs via email (btb@wargamereplays.com).
